Do all of your rooms contain a Private En-Suite Bathroom?
A - Yes all of our 4 star guest rooms contain a private bathroom
with either bathtub or shower and sometimes both. The bathrooms
are in marble and we provide you with a range of
complimentary accessories such as shampoo, shower gel, shoe shine
etc.
Q - Are the guest rooms
air conditioned and do you have central heating?
A - Yes, all of the rooms at the Jolly Carlton Hotel Florence are
fitted with air conditioning and central heating.
Q - What category or star
rating is your hotel?
A - The Jolly Hotel in Florence is officially a first class hotel
i.e. in Italian prima categoria and is internationally recognised
by the major hotel guides as a four star hotel.
The services which make our hotel a 4 star are: restaurant, bar,
conference center, breakfast room, 24 hour concierge / night porter
service, colour satellite television and pay t.v., mini bar, telephone,
internet connection (via lap top i.e. your own personal computer)
Q - Does your hotel have
Parking Facilities?
A - Yes, a limited number of parking spaces are available if not
parking can be arranged in a nearby garage. A small supplement
applies for parking facilities.
Q - Is the room rate per
person or per night?
A - The prices shown on the special offers page and on the online
booking system are in Euro and indicate the price per room
per night. They include everything i.e accommodation, buffet breakfast,
service and tax
Q - Are children free?
A - Yes, Children up to the age of 16 are free if they sleep in
their parents room. For more comfort we suggest you reserve a triple
room as it is more spacious. For babies a cot will be provided for
the daily supplement of 15 Euro in 2006.
Q - What are the directions
to the hotel?
A - We are located in the historical center of Florence only 1.5
km from the Ponte Vecchio and about 800 meters from the Railway
Station Santa Maria Novella. To reach the hotel you should take
the right hand exit from Santa Maria Novella and go left upon exiting
the station. Follow the road round to the right until you reach
via Della Scala. Turn right here and proceed to the end then turn
left. After another 200 meters you should see the Jolly Hotel Carlton
immediately on your left in Piazza Vittorio Veneto (in front of
Porta al Prato) The main attractions are easily reachable by taking
a leisurely stroll along the river Arno - walking time to Ponte
Vecchio and Uffizi Art Gallery is approximately 15 minutes.
Q - How do I get to Florence
and the Hotel Jolly Carlton from Pisa International Airport?
A - Some trains from Pisa depart directly from the airport to Florence
Rifredi Sation others leave from the main railway station in Pisa
and drop you off in the city center of Florence. The journey time
is 1 hour 5 minutes and the ticket costs 5.10 euro one way. Pisa
Centrale Train Station is reachable from Pisa Airport by bus no.3
which leaves every 15 minutes - tickets cost EUR 0.80 one way. NB
the last train leaves Pisa for Florence at 10:30 p.m. Alternatively,
you can take the Terravision Express Shuttle a
frequent coach service from Pisa Airport Giuseppe Galilei to Firenze
Santa Maria Novella. The journey time is about the same as the train
i.e. 70 minutes and the cost is 7.50 one way or 13.50 return.
Q - Journey time from Pisa to Florence
A - Both train and coach take approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Q - From Airport Florence
Vespucci?
Florence Vespucci airport is only 7 km or 4 miles from the Jolly
Hotel Carlton and their is a regular bus service. A taxi will cost
approximately 20 Euro but depends on traffic and how much baggage
you have.

A - You will be required to submit a credit card number at the time
of booking. Our hotel needs your credit card number in order to
reserve the guest room. Provided you cancel within the cancellation
period required no money will be debited from your card until th
moment you check out.
Q - Is buffet breakfast included in the
Room Rate?
A - Yes, a rich buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. You
may help yourself to an array of breakfast items including cereals,
fresh milk, scrambled eggs, bacon, yoghurt, fresh seasonal fruit,
pastries and cakes, fresh bread, rolls, butter, marmalade, jams,
fresh fruit juices, teas, coffees and cappuccino.
Q - What is the cancellation
deadline for my reservation?
A - Cancellation can be made up to 24 hours before arrival and no
penalty will be applied. For all cancellations and no shows received
after such time a 01 night late cancellation charge will be debited
to your credit card.
Q - Once I have made my
reservation, will I receive any written confirmation from the hotel?
A - Yes, an email will be sent as confirmation of your reservation
together with your booking reference number that will allow you
to change and modify your reservation. Make sure you enter your
correct email address so that you receive your confirmation NB you
can also print your reservation for safe keeping.

are accepted by the booking system ?

Q - My credit card number
is correct, but the hotel is not accepting it. Why?
There are a few possibilities:
-Your card type is not accepted at the hotel Jolly Carlton
-The card expiration date precedes the reservation date.
-You have reached your credit limit.
-There is a computer error.

A - The Hotel Jolly Carlton is open 24 / 7 i.e. all year round.
Q - Is there a Jolly
Hotel shuttle service to/from Florence or Pisa airport?
Pick-up can be arranged on request. Costs vary depending on which
airport you are arriving.
Q - Can I specify where
I would like my room located (preferred floor, etc)?
The Jolly Hotel Florence staff will certainly do their best to accommodate
special requests. We cannot guarantee guest room location because
it is subject to availability.
